The Northern Brazoria County Education Alliance and Pearland ISD CTE Department of Labor (DOL)  Apprenticeship Program provides students with classroom instruction in specialized areas such as; Ag Mechanics/Welding, HVAC, Construction Technology, Engineering MSSC/CPT, etc.   Apprentices are taught all of the craft skills associated with the trade, and not just a few related segments.  Upon their high school graduation, the students will be awarded a DOL School to Apprenticeship Certification.  The students then can be place in a job that further develops their acquired skill where they can become a journeyman or master in the skill and meet the needs of the workforce.
